i can only imagine...

Surrounded by your glory
What will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you Jesus,
Or in awe of you be still?
Will I stand in your presence,
Or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing Halelluja,
Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine

work & me

If you have not understood my work, you have not understood me.
Short of a better word, the failure, lies in not recognizing that both are one.
For the longest of times, I struggled between the two.
The day I found me, was the awakening that I am the work itself.
From thereon, I ceased to exist. I begin living.
I worked not for survival. I lived to create. Survival took care of its own.
Passion and energy seemed ever-flowing.

I did not live for a purpose.
That would mean that I projected life to be. Concluded.
Instead, I lived purposefully.
In this instance, life unfolds. I am new, everyday. Evolving.

I am that work.

Here I am

Genesis 46:2
"And God spoke unto Israel in the visions of the night,
and said, Jacob, Jacob. And he said, Here am I."

Here I am, Lord.

Is it I, Lord?
I have heard you calling in the night.
I will go, Lord, if you lead me.
I will hold your people in my heart.

Silent Rhythm

I lay upon the cold dewy grass,
Beneath, blackest blanket.
I am a sailor of the land,
Yet, a citizen to none.

The night is perfect.
A silent rhythm, I hear.
In the stillness of the wind
In the weaving of the stars

The rhythm,
Deaf, to all senses
Yet, at home,
At home within my heart,

Night,
Your constellations, tell your story,
My heart beats, to the rhythm,
My story, to be told.

The Rhythm Divine.
No longer, mere desire,
No longer, mere passion,
But, the very breath, of my being.

My Promise

A distant I stand,
A memory I draw close…
Pearls of time,
Now as dust , they lay.

A harden heart I bear.
I softening promise I make.
As all wounds You heal,
My heart I will first return.

Within Your embrace…
Home.
The longing ever stronger.
To just remain..

My stains are many,
My being untrue,
But truth my heart knows,
That home is only with You.

i can only imagine...

Surrounded by Your glory, what will my heart feel

Will I dance for you Jesus or in honour of you be still

Will I stand in your presence or to my knees will I fall

Will I sing hallelujah, will I be able to speak at all

I can only imagine
